About Muriel Vintage

Muriel is a small-batch vintage shop focused on sourcing high quality textiles, hand-sewn one-of-a-kind garments, and curated finds from independent designers. Some items have been lovingly mended or creatively edited into more contemporary silhouettes, and are marked as such. 

Muriel means 'of the bright sea' and was my grandmother's sister's name. She's on the left in the bottom right photo below.

Muriel is inspired by the sea in all its forms: my family has inhabited seaside locales for as long as I know, stretching from Rhode Island, Nantucket, California, Hawai'i and the Philippines to Chile and the Dominican Republic.

Currently based in Riverside, Rhode Island, Muriel is owned and operated by Audrey Lopez. You can read more about me and my day job here.
